As a direct result of the Covid-19 crisis, we regret to announce The Stage is entering into a period of redundancy consultations.
We know this will not solve every problem facing our culture sector, and that more support is needed. But I hope this £10m will be a lifeline for theatres - and also send a signal of how important we believe arts and culture are, not just to our economy, but to our wellbeing too.
