If the UK state can secretly relocate thousands of Afghans into our country while gagging media, with no democratic accountability, no vote, no scrutiny, no transparency, while committing billions that are not shown in the budget then it makes you wonder What else is it doing?

Thank god the celebrity chefs have finally spoken out, because I can no longer rely on football presenters and comedy actors for my Mid East analysis.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, "It's concerning that we're sending jets out to the middle east when all the talk should be of de-escalation" "If Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Labour government really wanted to show they were serious about de-escalating, they should stop…

Good to have it officially confirmed the PM and No10 do think that campaigning for a national Inquiry to end the coverups on the rape gangs is weaponising racism etc. This is the same mentality that drove all the coverups for years. And they’re openly pushing it from No10 press…

NEW: No10 risk fresh row after saying its "obviously disappointing" to see people "weaponising" rape gangs or "political point scoring" Then unable / refuse to say where this point scoring was/is PM "accepted" Lucy Powell's apology and she will face no sanction for her tirade

This government honestly leaves me speechless. For a start, who knew that the Labour Attorney General was Gerry Adams’ lawyer? Can such a situation be conceived in any other nation on earth?

The Attorney General will not say whether he stands to gain financially if the government pay out to Gerry Adams. Nor has he said whether he was involved in decisions which benefit his former client. Remarkable.

It's NOT normal to see armed police at Christmas markets/events, it's NOT normal to have security guards at dance classes, it's NOT normal for pockets of unknown foreign young males to appear all over the country. NONE of this is normal. We must NOT get used to it.

Someone sentenced to hang could appeal to three judges sitting in the Court of Appeal, and thence to the law lords. The Leadbeater bill specifically bars appeals from a judge's order to approve assisted suicide, even when evidence of coercion is brought to light later.

The actual victims of #AssistedDyingBill will NOT be attractive influencers dancing around fabulous kitchens in silk pajamas. They will be poor, old, disabled and sick folk struggling with the rent - pushed over the brink by cuts in disability support, therapy and pain meds
