Acts of kindness that feel small to us have a big impact on others. Research: kids and adults underestimate how tiny acts of generosity lift others' moods. There's no easier way to make someone's day than to offer a compliment, give a little gift, or send a handwritten note.
Will they survive?!? Fourth graders got to test out their attribute growth with our survival game this week! Using limited materials, they had to innovate and create items they would need to survive on an island. Water filters were a fave! #ourBMSA

Its interesting that in Finland, schools avg 5 hours per day and yet fit in 15 mins of recess every hour, but in the US we go 7 +hours and can’t fit in 10 mins total for recess.

Fourth graders took their effective communication skills to the next level this week by focusing on the importance of body language, eye contact and supporting evidence when delivering their opinions. They just might have convinced me to get a class pet! #ourBMSA
