Just realised that in the @FMIplay_AFLM competition, even if I tipped every single match perfectly forever, it would still be 2029 before I reached Div 1 !
It was a tight finish for 5th place in the bottom division at @FMIplay_AFL @sprenstama @zaphbot @theaflbuster all finished with the same points and same score difference.

Now and then my model makes crazy predictions. This week's is for the Hawks to beat Richmond by 2 points - definitely an out-there tip!
Last season I was in 16th place on the @SquiggleAFL ladder mid season, and finished in 2nd place This season I'm last, 26th place, looking forward to an amazing comeback inn the second half :-) #momentum

No model at @SquiggleAFL managed 8 this week, apart from the combined S10 tipster. S10 is greater than the sum of it's parts, or something like that!

It's almost time for the first bounce. Tips are in. Main model on Squiggle, and the new one on Monash Probablistic. It beat my main model by a few tips last year, but slightly lower bits - so I have made tweaks!
One month until the 2022 AFL(M) season starts... time to awaken from my slumbers and decide if it is time to update the prediction model or stick with last years again
Well that was an entertaining year of #AFL and competing for the first time on @SquiggleAFL I finished in 2nd place on Tips, 6th on Bits, 8th on MAE. Will look at the model over the off-season, no doubt breaking it ahead of next year!
Over the last 4 rounds my bot has clawed it's way from 16th of the Squiggle ladder up into the lofty heights of 3rd place behind @The_FMI and the Aggregate bot. I wish I could change its tip for Freo to beat the Eagles, which will likely see me drop back to 10th place :-(
My alternative tipping algorithm is winning the big money in the @sportsbetcomau AFL tipping contest!
Calling it early: Hawks by 11, 61% chance #AFLHawksDons Either a genius tip, or the moment you can point to where my model plummeted to the bottom of the tipping tables.
