I’ve thought about this too, and funny your “part”might not necessarily be something you did, sometimes it’s the inactions: not having boundaries, not communicating how we truly felt, people-pleasing etc.
One thing I’ve had to sit with over the last few months, hard as it’s been is acknowledging my own role in every failed relationship, friendship, or family fallout I’ve experienced. People have hurt me badly, yeah, but I’ve also had my own part to play in it all. It takes two👌
