In 2020 I was a music school owner who never thought he would do anything else. The pandemic and an Instagram ad for @bubble changed my life. In 2021 my new remote career brought me down to Florida with my wife and son. 🧵⬇️
Fun little tip I've been using a lot for ai-assisted coding - for extremely long server log outputs, throw them in a .md file at your project root and just tag it. The agent can then grep what it needs and read incrementally without forcing all of the context.
Notwithstanding my last post - this is very, very stupid 😂
Apple has launched the new iPhone Pocket, a new limited edition designer strap accessory 🚨 You can order one today and will be available this Friday in either short or long sizes for $149.95 and $229.95 respectively
Still bullish on @Apple. I think their moat on hardware is strong enough that they don’t necessarily need to compete on AI models. They have the right partnerships in place - I use “hey Siri, ask ChatGPT X” all the time in the car. Maybe I’m just a fan boy…
My spiciest take: Apple will not be a top 10 company by market cap by the end of this decade.
The reason this guy has so many followers is because he is just unapologetically himself all the time. His posts are so real, and he's funny as hell.
Yes! Just added one to my setup and absolutely loving it.
Engineer is sitting at the computer, designer is in the black jacket, PM in red.
There’s an engineer, a designer, and a PM in this video. Three legs of the same stool. The best part about working at @NotionHQ is that you wouldn’t know who’s who.
😂😂😂
me trying to beat the “you can’t code without ai” allegations
Love this new release notes page the team built!
This was after one prompt from to the @bubble AI Agent. Still a lot to be desired but a pleasant result so far.
today, we’re open sourcing the largest egocentric dataset in history. - 10,000 hours - 2,153 factory workers - 1,080,000,000 frames the era of data scaling in robotics is here. (thread)
No need to move from one AI model to another looking for ways to implement features in your @bubble app ~And they end up with tons of hallucinations 💔 The #bubbleAI Agent (my dev buddy)😎 provides the "most detailed" and "accurate" guides on building complex features all…
Been there, done that 🙋🏻♂️ 100% possible started with 2 at max size we only had 4 bubblers
Anyone saying you can’t scale a multi-million dollar product with @bubble is wrong. You just need the right talent.
Follow my dude LD @zapnocode - this guy is a long time @bubble dev, now working on our internal team with @Andrew_Vernon and @maria_at_bubble - He’s a beast
Dropped an interactive demo in the forum for parsing JSON in @Bubble Always wondered how to parse JSON with vanilla Bubble? 🔗 forum.bubble.io/t/tip-how-to-p…
I've always loved the process of setting up a new iPhone or mac. Even if it ends up exactly the same as my old one. There's something about going through the process, exploring new settings and getting a feel for the new OS as you do this that can't be replaced by a script.
i've never had to think about this because i wrote a bash script years ago that does literally everything ./lets_go.sh and 30-40 min later my new machine is identical to my old one • installs every package/tool i use • does browser ext, settings, system prefs, dotfiles,…
This has been driving me absolutely insane.
Border radius inconsistency is more noticeable on macOS Tahoe across apps From left to right here are the border radiuses on the latest version of • @cursor_ai • Ghostty (@mitchellh) • @googlechrome • Xcode (same as Finder and other apple apps). Looks like squircle corners
One misconception I had before coming into engineering is that all engineers knew everything about all types of code all the time. Its just not true. The ability to learn under pressure is underrated. Love this way of putting it.
I consider myself a "just in time" developer. Like I have no idea how to work with sqlite databases in Python. At least not without an ORM. By the end of the day I will. Let me tell you the secret of how I do that... I read docs and play with code until it works. 🤫
