He’s right. It shouldn’t be for water companies to have to clean up PFAS. Polluter should pay and in this instance, water companies are not the polluters. Stop their use and get the chemical companies to foot the treatment bill.

Property flood resilience measures are the last line of defence and recovery from flooding where defences are absent or can't hold things back. They need to be well-installed, and supported by govt / insurers to be installed far more widely. theguardian.com/environment/20…
