Our #kcstreetcar system, at less than half the size of Portland & Seattle systems, continues to be one of the most productive, highest ridership systems in the entire county. And as Brad notes, our two expansions underway will push numbers significantly higher in near future.

The majority of cities that have built modern streetcar systems are expanding them Cincinnati has one of the highest ridership systems in the country and potential to grow even more by expanding the system and improving speeds with transit-only lanes & optimizing signal timing

This is Dallas, TX. Before the parking mandates, before the highways and stroads, before Euclidian zoning, before setback requirements — before many, many tiny and mostly well intentioned regulations, Downtown Dallas was a radically different place.

I'm excited to participate in this tomorrow. Proud that Minnesota is leading this reform conversation.

Join us at tomorrow at 10am for a press event to introduce the Minnesota People Over Parking Act! This is a bill that would make Minnesota a leader on climate action and housing affordability by eliminating minimum parking mandates statewide.

Traffic engineers won't allow bollards at most US street intersections because cars will hit them and be damaged. Yes, that will happen. It's not the worst outcome.

Note how this pedestrians life was saved by the bollards. Absolutely magnificent. #WorldBollardAssociation

In an effort to lower the cost of housing and to reduce approval times in Kansas City, we've released an RFP for "pre approved" housing plans for anyone to use at little to no cost and that are already approved by City Planning. Check it out here: kcmo.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/…
