This is out now: "What Every Developer Should Know About GPU Computing" open.techwriters.info/codeconfession… It took longer than anticipated but good things usually do take time. Big thanks to @msharmavikram for reviews and suggestions, his feedback added another level of depth. GPUs are a…

Finished drafting the next article. It covers the architecture of GPUs and their execution model. Will be out tomorrow after I finish reviewing and editing.

Ranching impacts everyone—from the #rancher to the consumer. It impacts the water you drink, the food you eat, the air you breathe, and the #soil beneath your feet. That’s why every single acre matters. So, tell us about your ranch, why does your acre matter?

Over the past two years I've released more than 20 apps and projects. 10 have been featured on the App Store, one was nominated for an Apple Design award and one was App of the Month in China. I made all of these apps with my 2-2-2 method, and today I'm launching a course! 1/4

Looking for a quick tip to improve your Swift code? 🤨 If you need to combine several `if` statements together, nesting them might not be the best choice! Instead you can use the operator `,` to combine the conditions into a single `if` statement 👌

Thank you for the free week of learning @pluralsight. I was able to kickstart learning native iOS development with SwiftUI using @andrewcbancroft’s great introductory course. Now onto solidifying what has been learnt and improving on it. Thanks once again.

"So much of getting good at anything is just pure labor: 1️⃣figuring out how to try and then 2️⃣offering up the hours." ava.substack.com/p/effort

Reflecting: I’ve got to journey with others long enough to understand the “why” behind the behavior and choices that clash with my own conception of “right”. #Empathy #EmotionalIntelligence

There’s almost always more than one solution to a given problem. Who even knows what the “best” one is? (it’s -my- solution, of course 😄) We can argue for our way all day. OR. We could ask, “How can we test?” Less talking. More testing. #Learn by doing. #agile

The test-ability of a decision signals the degree of its reversibility. Relatively reversible decisions carry far less risk than relatively irreversible ones. 👉If a decision can be tested, why get hung up in analysis paralysis? Try it out. Observe the results. Adjust.

Convert all “to-do” lists into “could-do” lists. Now you have a backlog of opportunities that you can choose to work on (or not). Prioritize opportunities based on the perceived potential value that completing the work will bring. Be intentional. Schedule high value work.
