A surprise catch at Carymoor Environmental Centre this morning. Yellow-browed Warblers seem to be everywhere!
I can’t believe the government are bragging about phasing out coal whilst announcing a pylon programme. How will we make steel to make the pylons, solar panels and wind farms ?? I know import it from China, offset our carbon then ship it to the UK 🙄.. Ridiculous!!
It’s that time of year again - tractors all over the land will take to flailing vital food sources in the form of berries along thousands of miles of hedgerows. PLEASE, if you are a landowner or know someone who is, wait until Feb/March & leave nature’s larder for #wildlife 🙏🍒
British police did not arrest Muslim immigrants with knives, hammers and axes, however they did arrest an unarmed White patriot woman. The British police are a joke.

Congratulations Nigel. Lovely to see decent people in Britain feeling some kind of hope. 3.5 million votes. Third biggest party by vote share. Get in there and give voice to the ordinary.
Reform: Booted out racists in their party for their unrepresentative and vile comments. VS Labour: Standing a white-hating candidate in Clacton and reinstating the whip for prolific racist Dianne Abbott. I know which party has their morals in the right place.
I cannot think of another time when a British politician would try to get elected in Britain using the colours of the flag of another would-be nation. This is INSANE.
Never forget what happened on Oct 7th. Thousands of Palestinian civilians lined the streets of Gaza to spit on the body of German-Israeli woman Shani Louk. Civilians hit her body with wooden planks, punched and slapped her naked body as they cheered with joy. Never forget.
🍀 Europe's collective suicide perfectly depicted in a single incident. So symbolic: 😎
An incredible letter written by a non-Jewish Scottish professor to his students who voted to boycott Israel It's a response from Dr. Denis MacEoin to the motion put forward by The Edinburgh Student's Association to boycott all things Israeli, in which they claim Israel is under…
UK is now one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world. It is a national crisis - and neither the Tories nor Labour have a plan to address it. So tomorrow I'll be leading a debate in Parliament on UK biodiversity loss - please encourage your MP to take part.

Nice to be back ringing at RNAS Merryfield this morning. Two adult nightingales, lesser and greater whitethroat, garden warbler, sedge and reed warblers and eleven other species totaling 46 birds. All accompanied by 8 singing male nightingales. @somersetbirds
Thank goodness for 'Merlin', or I would not have known that there are Red-billed Chough or Black Woodpeckers calling on my patch in northwest Hampshire!
Remember, in nesting season it's illegal to work on trees with live nests. Last year we stopped men cutting an oak tree containing a crow's nest. Reported it to wildlife police who followed it up. CALL police 101 or 999 if ongoing. @ukwildlifecrime @RSPBEngland @ChrisGPackham
Japan has a new whaling mother ship. The Kangei Maru, launched Friday, will replace the Nisshin Maru, which has processed 17,072 whales since 1991. The new vessel has a shallower slope than its predecessor meaning it can also haul up larger fin whales. japannews.yomiuri.co.jp/society/genera….
