We’re excited to share that Auth.js (formerly known as NextAuth.js), is now part of Better Auth. We're excited to keep making auth *better across the web.

Did you know you can migrate to @authjs NextAuth.js v5 from v4 without losing active user sessions? Technically you could even migrate to a different framework integration. Did a small example: github.com/balazsorban44/…
After much confusion and many requests to make our Next.js integration of Auth.js (NextAuth.js) edge-compatible (it always has been), our Edge Compatibility article authjs.dev/guides/edge-co… will finally become obsolete. No more split config! Great work by the Next.js team! 🎉
One of the top community requests for Next.js will soon be solved. Full Node.js support for middleware 🙏

If you use @nextauthjs, have you tried NextAuth.js v5 yet? If you had issues or have other feedback, tell us in the replies!
