If you're maintainer of related projects on any BSD - twit me, if you think you can find a good use for this account.
I've not worked on bsdroid for a long time. Feel this account should be passed to any active Android related project on FreeBSD.
after testings: amd64's aapt not works, mksnapshot and emulator crashes. Debugging it...
amd64's version of sdk was built. In general, it seems working, however there are several issues, notably - aapt. Will test it tomorrow.
amd64 's aapt locks on start (WTF?). Will check it later, now building SDK with i386 aapt.
now v8 is the biggest enemy. Issue is in pointers to integers casts. int32_t/int => intptr_t fix will work, but there may be side effects.
Quick and dirty Android 2.2 SDK snapshot was built, i386 tools. amd64 tools in progress.
meanwhile we've got sad news, FreeBSD related patches will be not integrated to korg/master. Patches will be published with snapshots now.
Eclair g2g problem was due missed path to built libs on which make_g2g depends in LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I'm curious how it's buildable on linux?
uploaded changesets. Some may be skipped by repo after git --soft reset, so may be not all are reviewable yet, need to recheck.
make clean/make sdk on new PC and no VoiceDialer.g2g for system.img. Seems something is unsynced.
A bit of magic and it is compiled. Will be uploaded tomorrow, after recheck of changes in srec makefiles and adb test. Time to sleep now
cherry-picking my old patches from local branch to reapply them on same branch after rebase on master, to which it was merged earlier. Funny
Eclair uses hardcoded arm-eabi-4.4.0, cross-gcc port have 4.3.2, my prebuilts - 4.2.1. Seems, core/combo needs auto version switching code
Found new Android porting project - FreeBroid. Goal is to run Android on FreeBSD, but SDK is also ported. More at: gitorious.org/freebroid
Just found JBQ's post in android-platform list realted to Eclair status in AOSP. I'll try to compile this branch next week.
Uploaded new snapshot. Includes adb and latest changes from AOSP. Uploaded prebuits also (includes swt, arm-eabi-4.2.1 and etc)
gmake clean/gmake sdk solved problem. emulator is compiled by gcc4 now. Need to make more generic sdk, without -msse2 for binaries and etc.
FreeBSD native arm-eabi-gcc 4.2.1 (compiled from android-toolchain) works for target compilation, however emulator is not responding. WTF?
