Dr. Henry has issued new public health orders for the @VCHhealthcare and @Fraserhealth regions. The orders require everyone in those communities, with the exception of Bella Coola Valley and Central Coast residents, to limit social interactions, until November 23. That means: +

As we begin to do more activities, we also need to be more vigilant in protecting ourselves and loved ones from the risk of COVID-19. We can be active and spend time with our close contacts – and we can do it safely. #COVIDBC #DoYourPartBC

My take on Dr. Bonnie Henry's briefing today: 10-20 #COVID19 cases a day is likely average for a while; the US border will remain closed for months; the airlines have to step up their game when screening passengers and preparing manifests; and don't go to crowded private parties!

Latest Washington state #COVID19 numbers: 547 more cases today (43,304 total), 5 more deaths (1,404). Today in BC: 13 new cases. 0 deaths. The border will remain closed to tourists for "months" Dr. Bonnie Henry said today. As it should be.

Washington state just reported its worst-ever day of #COVID19 : 716 new cases (34,151 total) and, sadly, 3 more deaths (1,342 total). On a day when BC politicians and health officials stressed the need to keep the US border closed indefinitely.
