People say “The bars never been lower” or “there so much incompetence all you have to do is work hard”. I CAN ASSURE YOU YOU’RE ONLY FOCUSING ON THE LOW BARS. FOR EVERY 5 INCOMPETENT PEOPLE THERE ARE 50 COMPETENT PEOPLE ALSO APPLYING. HARDWORK HAS NEVER BEEN ENOUGH
Only thing I’ll say here is Ralph Waldo Emerson
Hmm. Test any person on what they learned/remember from a book they read, a week/month/year later. 🤔😬
After shitting on docker for a while I actually have a use case. Using the official MongoDB docker image instead of cloning the unofficial arch version.
What’s the best way to present an app that shows that it’s an “app” and not a “design”
Was a skill issue
I’ve seen the script Vini gets announced as the winner People shocked he didn’t show up Video of him gets played accepting the award knowing from the beginning I’ll be there
maybe it's just me but the new claude isn't as good in coding as the previous version.
Is there a one fits all animation class for different types of sprite sheets There are sprite sheets with the frames on the x axis, then others on the y Some with different states in the same sheet plus “multi-sprite” sprite sheets. I dislike having to edit them all the time
Bro made the imitation game fr
✨ I made a new project It's a game where you get randomly matched in a chat with either a human or an AI 👨🦰vs 🤖 Now it's up to you to guess: Are you talking to a human or an AI? Whoever is #1 on the leaderboard in 24 hours will get $100 If you'd like to play: link in…
Second sprite for my simulation. I think i like drawing my own games assets.
creating the PNG parser starting with structs made in adherence to the specifications.
After my PNG parsing success of yesterday. I will probably do it again without the zlib library for decompression (was the only lib used). Time to write a zlib compressor and decompressor from scratch.
Just used Claude Sonnet to code an image slicer due to Figmas image dimension upload limit it cuts a long image into segments for group uploads to figma bypassing loss of quality when figma auto reduces dimensions Works only on PNG (easiest) :) saved me lots of time in GIMP
Due to Figma's import dimensions limit (4096 x 4096), I usually cut the images into smaller chunks in GIMP. Would probably create a script to do it for me but the pain of working with multiple image formats and parsing them is one i know all to well. Mendokusai.
WHERE DO UI SPECIALISTS GET THEIR ILLUSTRATIONS FROM??????
the one thing holding me back is design when making games i default to squares or already made textures when making websites i blank out on what to add here an there i never have problems with coding will probably turn this account into one for discovering my inner creative
