#100DaysOfCode Day 100: Finished L20 Game of Life simulation in #golang. Used fmt.Print("\033c") to clear the screen in Ubuntu terminal. After 1000 moves, a few shapes survived indefinitely (see screenshot). What a fun way to end the challenge! 🎉What'll the next adventure be? 🤔

#100DaysOfCode Day 99: Finished first 2 (of 3) parts of @programminggo L20 capstone. I've never played Conway's Game of Life, but I'll be writing the #golang code behind it. Wow, 1 day left. As the cliché goes, "How time flies!" What will I do when it's over? Feels slightly sad.

#100DaysOfCode Day 98: Done w/ L19, started L20 capstone. @programminggo said to use map w/ bool values to make a set of keys. I like @daveddev's advice better: use empty interfaces instead of bool. They use less memory, and ok can be used to check for empties. #golang tips FTW!

#100DaysOfCode Day 97: Completed L17 & L18. Learned append() modifies OG underlying array if cap() was big enuf to hold another item. However, a new array will be made (w/ 2x prev cap()) if new item doesn't fit in the slice. Happy @programminggo is filling #golang knowledge gaps.

#100DaysOfCode Day 96: Merry Christmas! Today, I completed lesson 16 reading & exercise, and lesson 17 reading. I'm able to go quickly thru these chapters because #golang array and slice syntax is review for me. Only 4 days remaining for 100 Days of Code and 6 days for the year.
