Tweeted something during the Pengassan vs Dangote issue and I just knew he didn't do any research.
To be honest, I am surprised that AWS can be hit by a downtime that affects their customers given the advances made in this space already. I am still learning what happened but I would that is the reason load balancers/other tech such as HSRP for redundances are in place.
