I wonder how cracked you have to be to become the CTO of Cloudflare
He’s definitely cracked, but Cloudflare is full of cracked engineers. What sets Dane apart I’ve noticed over the years is the sheer endurance and immediate agency he operates on. It’s unreal how much he’s actually getting done. Not just meetings, unblocking processes all over…
i love this response, thank you! he sounds like a brilliant person
Spotify is another. Their CTO is so cracked. Once listened to his podcast with @DavidDeutschOxf, I understood immediately why he’s the CTO.
I wonder how cracked you have to be to become the founding engineer of Boardy
Probably just someone who stayed calm the first time half the internet went down and everyone looked at them "This is fine" energy at planetary scale
Cloudflare's CTO role demands elite expertise in scaling global infrastructure so we are talking God level cracked
"So what do you do?" "I am CTO @Cloudflare so basically my role means meeting the demanding mastery in global-scale networking, security, and infrastructure amid challenges like the November 2025 outage I publicly addressed." "Good talk, see you out there." Resume includes…
Perfect timing - wondering this while half the internet's playing hide and seek. Must be cracked enough to handle outages like today's without cracking under pressure! 😅
CTO of Cloudflare is basically SRE mode on nightmare difficulty.
I guess not that cracked with that recent time-out. Affected my Black Friday shopping at Login.

chances are they know the original codebase they know where are the critical functions are called and won’t tell anyone will gloss over them in docs and maintain job security that’s how senior devs were made
Or how cracked you have to be to be the one that selects the CTO
That company intimidates me, the original founder was crazy genius wild 😂
That guy is on his own world man
