If you lack emotional intelligence we will never work out for real. i’m not teaching you how to apologize, how to take accountability, or how to treat me with respect. these are basic qualities you should already possess before entering a relationship.
being in a healthy relationship really taught me there's no such thing as 'that's just the way i am'. when you truly love someone you work on those toxic traits, you learn to communicate, you actively listen to each others thoughts & feelings – you adjust, grow & heal together.

Nobody talks about the angry stage of healing. The rage you feel when you realize how much and how long you were taken advantage of. The absolute disgust you feel towards those people that mislead you. It comes in waves. Sometimes you'll feel healed and then it suddenly hits you.
