A big well done to all of our student swimmers who took part in the English Schools' Swimming Association (ESAA) Swimming Gala in Wigan yesterday.
As part of our @CHS_Sixth_Form Honours Programme, Baroness Fox travelled from the @UKHouseofLords last week to speak with Y11-13 students about the importance of free speech and debate. Students were able to ask questions, which led to some excellent and very topical discussions
Our annual Mock Interview Event takes place tomorrow (Thursday 2nd October), when our Y11 students will be interviewed by local business people. The students have prepared for this, with help and support from their form tutors, by crafting a CV and an application letter. #Careers

Last month Y10 Belle L represented the school at the National Schools Equestrian Association qualifiers. She saw great success over the two day event and qualified for the National Championships, which take place this month. We look forward to sharing more great news from Belle.
It was a busy night of fixtures for our Football teams yesterday. First up, was a win for the U13 Girls in their Cheshire Cup game vs Tytherington. The Year 7 and Year 9 boys then went on to win their games vs Holmes Chapel. Well done all.

Our Year 10 and 11 U16s Netball team played their first two Sisters n Sport games yesterday. They won both matches and go through to the quarter finals. Well done to Savannah H, who was awarded Player of the Match for both matches.
