Beavers probably aren't the easiest animals to husband, and few zoos have good displays. So it was gratifying to visit the @desertmuseum last week and spend time around its lovely beaver exhibit, and the delightfully inquisitive 8-year-old female who inhabits it.

Now that it’s November, Shelby’s Walk for Wilderness has come to a close. She walked a total of 120 miles and raised over $4,500 from 34 different donors. Congrats! Shelby’s four-week walk spanned #Vermont, #NewHampshire, and #Maine, with donors tagging along at numerous points.
