Finding yourself by just thinking about it and seeing the world, instead of pursuing some action and examining your own thoughts and feelings is losing yourself.
The more energy you need to start, more regarding can be to continue.
Let me be blunt. Those who are afraid of AI feel deep down that they are impostors & have no edge. If you have a 1) clear mind, 2) a deep, not just cosmetic, undertanding of your specialty, 3) and/or are original enough to reinvent yourself when needed, AI will be your friend.
What are the skills that are hard to automate? What are the jobs that will stick even with AI?
The issue with data driven decisions is that data may reflect past which is radically different than the future. Trust data but also question data. Always.
