15 years later and Title Fight's "The Last Thing You'll Forget" is still a great listen.

What #typescript stack are people currently enjoying? Have previously used NextJS with Prisma. Is Remix or Drizzle worth investigating?

Hey you. Yeah, you. Come here... Just a reminder that you should never compare your progress to someone else's. You're doing great 👍🏾... And, I am very proud of you.

Trust is a HUGE advantage if you want to ship quickly:

EASY way to speed up your team velocity. On code reviews: if it's close enough, approve it anyway. Then trust they'll make the right decision based on whatever feedback you left. Save everyone another back n forth.

Bootstrap, Foundation, and MUI did nothing to make me less skeptical about CSS frameworks. Tailwind is playing a totally different game, and makes it easy to build your own design framework using their utility classes. Been using it in prod for >1 year and love it!

I was checking out what's coming in iOS 15 the other day, and I noticed this cool new Notification Summary UI I thought: "Hey, wonder how easy it would be to build this with @tailwindcss?" I'll show you, step by step, how easy it is!

Pretty telling that GitHub Copilot is initially for VS Code, and not Atom. Guess I’m going to finally get around to changing editors!

Love to see onboarding flows that pull the twitter avatar instead of gravatar (I don't want to sign up to Wordpress 😭) - nice work @SliteHQ!

This has been one of the hardest lessons for me to internalise: when your company is small you need to do a lot to succeed. As your company grows, being one of the people who owns a lot ends up reducing your scaling velocity, and can rob your teammates of agency.

A brazen daytime shoplifting incident captured on video at a Walgreens in San Francisco on Monday has highlighted what local officials say has become a consistent problem, particularly for chain drug stores in the city cnn.it/3xqMKbH

The unemployment/"no one wants to work" saga illustrates why big businesses have fought universal health care. Higher unemployment checks make people less reliant on shitty jobs. And once you decouple health care from work, people will have freedom to quit their shitty job.

Cleansing my soul aka drinking a Yerba Mate and listening to Thundercat on repeat. m.youtube.com/watch?v=ylODuq…

The only Australian anthem I respect is John Farnham’s The Voice

Thinking back, it was pretty bullshit for Have A Nice Life to release an album entitled “Sea of Worry” at the peak of my personal existential crisis

I know people joke about it, but I am honestly excited at the prospect of brunch

Idk where people are at but something that helped me when I was learning more about Palestine a few years ago was reading about the everyday mechanisms of control that Palestinians deal with — from roads to water to ID cards. So thought I’d share

Housing, and the space to simply exist are so essential. Hope we all come out of this pandemic more empathetic, and ready to help others.

Everyone I interviewed here is delighted to have lived in a hotel for the past year -- but what they really want is housing. All of them have housing vouchers, and yet they can't find an apartment they can afford -- or a landlord who'll accept the vouchers.thecity.nyc/housing/2021/5…

I’ve been using Reflect for the past couple of months and love it. The best part is how seamlessly it connects my notes together, making it incredibly easy to find things later! (something that I’ve found impossible in notion 😂)

Sneak peek of what I've been working on. Beta coming soon. reflect.app
