Despite my best efforts to feed badgers and foxes on potato and peanut butter - the badgers tend to ignore them and the foxes are spooked by them. Perhaps I need to shop at Waitrose, rather than LIDL🤔 Amazing how the foxes appear to detect the infra red of the cam too.
I had a face off with this today in the deep, dark woods. It wasn't backing down, so I made my excuses and left. Wood Mouse or Field Mouse. I read that they are the same thing apparently🤔. I saw it in a Wood though, so make your own minds up.😄
Have you ever seen a badger's breath before? I am guessing, maybe not... I think it was having a chew on the canvas strap that secured the cam to the tree. About 2 feet from the ground.
I love this time of year. Misty clag typically clings low down in the Malton area first thing - but you just know that the dawn is happening higher up on The Wolds. Usually well worth investigating I find😍

8 days holiday away from my Trail cams meant that I had to scroll through over 350 triggered shots this morning. About 300 were of a really cute squirrel. Please forgive me for hoping that this guy turns up when he is a bit distracted though.....😆
