Here’s another photo captured from my 12” telescope. Nebulae are infinitely complex and fractal in nature- the closer you look, the more you see. Zooming into this photo you’ll see complex shapes and structures not found anywhere else in nature.

This chart tells you why we wont be getting critical minerals like lithium or rare earths from space. You're not brining back 100s of thousands of tons and if you tried you'd fill the atmosphere with nitrous oxides from reentry. Space resources are for space.

1/On the 4th November 2010, while climbing over Indonesia, Qantas flight QF32 reported a problem on their Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft. Engine 2 had just exploded. This thread runs through it all, and how a tiny 0.5mm manufacturing defect was the cause.
