212lbs to 187lbs. My knees/elbows/shoulders felt BETTER when I was more aligned with my joints at a lower body fat. Strength (and size) went up. Lose the weight.
Losing 10 pounds of excess body weight takes 40 pounds of pressure off your knees and hips. If you want healthier joints start with being at a healthy weight.
The best Sunday workout: move as much as possible outdoors with people (and/or dogs) you love. And if you have to do it alone, do it alone… maybe foster a dog. We love to isolate variables but connection, sunlight, movement, fresh air, etc.; the positive synergy is incalculable.
Even though it’s only once a year, me and a group of friends go climb the peaks, almost like a tradition. Can’t explain how it feels, almost like all balance has been restored in the chaos. Don’t underestimate outdoor movement, connection and sunlight.

Andrew Huberman on doing hard stuff:
Can confirm, my shoulders at 20:
I see too many guys wasting time on this one Butchering lateral raises swinging weights and wondering why their shoulders still look flat Once I fixed these cues, my delts blew up and so did every client’s I’ve coached. >Lean slightly forward >Shift arm forwards 30 degrees…

Always say first video is your worst but gotta start somewhere🙏
I regret to inform you that lifting 3x a week, walking 30 minutes a day, eating real foods, drinking water, and getting enough sleep will make your mind and body healthier 95% of the population.
Going from fat > lean is physical Going from fallen > disciplined is psychological The second transformation is the real one. The one required to maintain and continue progressing. You need to rewire your identity.
As I approach my 30’s (I turned 22 recently) I’m starting to realise the importance of keeping your joints healthy. Stretching is single handedly the most underrated thing one could do. Definitely credit some of the growth to my consistency around it.
Do your cardio fasted. Do your cardio fed. Whatever you do - do not forgo your cardio.
Just absolutely wild that anyone could watch this video/see this machine in action and say “That’s cool & all but I think a Barbell Squat will do a better job of growing my legs!” No way anyone really believes that… NO WAY
I think people sometimes forget this machine isolated your quads way better than barbell squat. Also keeps your lower back safe. Obviously you get less glute/hamstring/core engagement but that’s what other exercises are for!

The mind can be the biggest enemy of progress in some cases. Get in control.
Bulking is more difficult than cutting, especially when you're consuming mostly whole foods. Nothing worse than staring at a plate full of food when you're already stuffed.
16 to 20. I was around 216 in the first photo, 185 in the second photo Identity shift Compounding effects Large results (over time) Patience
