I remember when i learned redux for client state management. Now i just started using zustand and it is freaking simple and easy. It took me literally 3min to apply to my current React project. It took me 3 days to understand redux flow back in the days.

Just moved to new home. Now i will have to take red urban bus to go home from Seoul. Believe it or not if the seat is available, it is much better passenger experience than i was living in Seoul. Also more importantly, i have bugger home office.

My cyclic video rtsp stream crashed after a few days due to ininow buffer issue. It is probably memory issue i guess. I figured how to restart it as soon as it crashes for any reason. Now it is perfect except i cannot force to kill it even with process id. Zombie?

module: add --experimental-strip-types by marco-ippolito · Pull Request #53725 · nodejs/node · GitHub github.com/nodejs/node/pu…

I’ve spent building and testing my own hls server for live video streaming for two weeks. I just realized the middleware analytics server provide way better performance on video streaming endpoint out of box. At least it is good that i will not spend another 2wks for optimizing

There is no shortcut i guess. I am collecting hours and it is fun and painful at the same time.

Collect programming hours like pilots collect flight hours

I'm confused. so am i being charged $16.80 or not?

Without Docker, how did engineers go through all the pain due to mysterious environment? can't imagine and I would not maintain a dev-ops like career without Docker

not surprised a new model almost every week. However what is impressive about Llama is an open source. From now on, it would be not smart to pay annual subscription for any of AI tool. I already regret for paying Github copilot with annual discount because I'm using cursor

This might be the biggest moment for Open-Source AI. Meta just released Llama 3.1 and a 405 billion parameter model, the most sophisticated open model ever released. It already outperforms GPT-4o on several benchmarks.

how am i going to live without homebrew

High time for an AI fashion show

These advices come from real experiences. How do i know? There are no fancy words in it.

I'm turning 35. If you're a startup founder in your 20's, read these 28 rules I learned the hard way: 1. Validate idea first. I wasted a decade building stuff nobody needed. I thought Incubators and VCs served as a validation, but I was so wrong. 2. Kill your EGO. It’s not…

I love you docker

I'm finally learning how to build and how to sell It is really exciting and rewarding at the same time.

Many technical people believe the alpha in their career is to become… more technical. I recently ran into a great software engineer who I’ve known for many years who’s now making a killer career in sales. He has the thing everyone wants. Similarly, the best marketers I know…

Human vs AI is nonsense comparison. The only useful insight from that is to measure how good ai is compared to dumb human. More realistic and practical comparison is between human without AI vs human with AI because this we see everyday in our office.
