I need to find the time to get back to #objc on #Dreamcast. It's my favourite project but once I started to renovate my basement I had to put it to the side. A month ago I began a guide on how to setup the dev environment. I'd like to get that finished by the end of the summer.


I've played the Dreamcast version and it was fantastic. Now you can take it on the go with the release of the Android version!

Made some more progress on the Foundation #Dreamcast project. Now that NSTimers are firing at the correct intervals, I wanted to try and post NSNotifications with payloads.

What happens when you truncate doubles and pretend they are floats? The answer is 1 second timers taking 64 seconds. This was discovered in the #dreamcast KOS toolchain. A fix is in place and now NSTimers execute correctly! This unlocks so much potential on the platform.


Seriously, of all languages running on the Dreamcast! I can’t believe it was done but here we are. It’s a marvellous sight indeed.
