Exactly, and this applies to almost every female character written within the “soft nature in a violent social world” archetype. Characters like Hinata, Orihime, and many others are consistently devalued because they refuse to conform to shōnen’s dominant aesthetic of legitimacy.
To me, Orihime feel like she was born to shojo forced to shonen. A kind teen girl that has god power but flaws on her own, balance of love and friendship, charac that doesn't focus on "action/being cool" but rather on humanity+virtues. She's like the "heart" of Bleach.

How about we don’t scale the deep trauma forced onto children. The story of Naruto and Boruto is literally about all these child soldiers pushed into insane training and missions but are forced to endure it for the safety of the world. Every arc is about the abuse of children
