I have to tell this Bill Friend who made IMP/EXP for Oracle Forms 40 years ago in C - his tools work for more than 40 years now on every OS and every DB version - great job!! Moving from Assembler to C was the best decision they could make!!
On monday we updated 5.000 clients on 40 different networks from #ORACLEFORMS 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4 with an MSI using FSAL and JRE 1.8_261 in a few secs. Next to many enhancements we saw 15% less nettraffic on our largest modul. Forms is getting better and better! @OracleFormsPM

Great news from Larry’s Homeoffice live. With cloud@customer (Region) for 500.000$ a month government customers can run the Gen2 Cloud completely on premise and use all apps and services available. Copy&Paste the Oracle Cloud behind your firewall!!

For security reasons published by the security warning from Oracle today I removed the nice JavaFX/webview demos from the demoserver. JavaFX is also no longer supported from Oracle and needs third party support (example by GLUON)
#OracleForms was created for transactional purposes and is together with the database still the most powerful data entry tool. Today users don't care about this and prefer any tool with satisfying data entry experience. Forms can and must give them both - Power and UX. Possible!
