Hello! This twitter is a collection of random thoughts about game design that tends to happen while I play games. Some thoughts are just "oh that's cool" others are critiques. I'll do my best, but there may be spoilers. 🤔🤔🤔 Thanks for reading 🤔🤔🤔


It's very interesting how many different combinations of boss battles there can be using the break system alone. #octothoughts


The choice given to you in how to proceed during Therion's chapter 3 is nice. #octothoughts


Both Olberic and Primrose's stories focus on revenge. #octothoughts


Olberic's chapter 3 does not use the provoke ability, but when fighting the final boss for the chapter it's automatically used when talking to them. The provoke is used at a different beat of the chapter compared to others. #octothoughts


In Olberic's chapter 3 while gathering information all of the NPCs repeat the same information with slightly different dialogue. Not good. #octothoughts


The job system and break system is fun. #octothoughts


In cutscenes all characters on the screen can cause SFX to be triggered. Normally only the player character causes SFX to be triggered. #octothoughts


In cutscenes all of the non-important NPCs are hidden #octothoughts
