Let me pay you a bunch of to pay me with other peoples money together
Morning walks at Starbase @SpaceX’s Super Heavy Booster rolls by on its way to the launch pad
The great thing about 🇺🇸 is that the minute you become a U.S. citizen, you are every bit as American as someone who can trace their ancestry to the Mayflower. You become part of a lineage of ambition and freedom that, at its best, encapsulates the grandest aspects of humanity.
If I moved to America, how long would it take for me to become American? One day? One week? A year? Until I got my papers?
This is nature's periodic reminder that we are responsible for running arbitrarily operationally effective space programs. The last time something this large didn't miss us by a whisker it ended the dinosaurs. They didn't have a space program. We do, but ours can't even figure…
There's a new interstellar comet in the neighborhood! Known as 3I/ATLAS, this comet poses no threat to Earth – but it does provide a rare opportunity to study an object that originated outside of our solar system: science.nasa.gov/blogs/planetar…
Rule by engineers has notably produced much better results than rule by scientists. All-powerful engineers get you Sputnik and the Moon landing. All-powerful scientists get you esoteric boondoggles (CERN) and funding the worst ideas ever thought of (COVID-19/gain of function).

You're day drinking. An entire computing paradigm is unfolding before us with thousands of companies to build for those diligent enough, and you're day drinking.
Would dialing up the "courage" knob in humans further radicalize us because we are more confident in our beliefs or would it bring us closer together because we would have more consistent and ethically-grounded views, instead of falling to whatever sounds nice?
SpaceX constantly hedges that "Starlink will only supplement terrestrial ground internet, but not replace it", but this is prob a way to avoid rustling (regulatory) feathers while they ramp up. In 5 years, Starlink will creep into suburban America and compete with the big dogs.
