As someone who as a child looked Asian and now appears Latina (mixed gene pool fun), people don't always watch what they say around me if they don't know my bg. Racism in NYC has been rampant since COIVD. My heart hurts for all these women who have been murdered.

On #LatinaEqualPay Day, women are breaking barriers & building gender pay equity in the construction industry. This past year we trained 380+ women in 40-hours of Construction Site Safety Training, creating a pathway for more women to enter the construction industries.

This warms my heart. #corbevax is not patented which means it can be produced worldwide to start protecting people. Thank you @TexasChildrens - doing the right thing.

There's a LOT of info here. I find @elliefry's map much easier to read: testingsites.nyc

A success story I’m thrilled to see

A 27-year-old wanted to see her Asian American story reflected in bookstores. So she opened her own. wapo.st/345DYXz

I have Anthem insurance. They will send subscribers two free Covid at home test kits — two tests per individual. I ordered mine today and they will be here Monday or Tuesday. Just log into the Anthem app and go to the the Covid pop up link.

2 years into this I shouldn’t have to tell patients to put their masks on when they’re done eating in a healthcare setting - they’re in a public area with other patients. Apology? Nah, they just went “oh…I’m still eating…” and moved the bag of snacks to their lap. Mask. Up.

People are like "Grey's anatomy should be more realistic" but idk if people want a show about having to change your scrub pants multiple times due to miscellaneous patient fluids before going home at 9pm and eating peanut butter out of the jar as your only meal for the day

NOTE: Do NOT use rapid tests in the cold. If using rapid tests this holiday season and asking ppl to test before a gathering… or any time… Suggest they be done before leaving the house, or in the car, etc. Someplace >55 F

Daily holla to PLEASE get your COVID-19 vax or booster because this ish is about to get wrecked and not in a fun way in NYC. Don’t be ashamed if you’ve put it off - all healthcare workers just want to keep you safe and healthy.

When you say “they only died because of co-morbidities” you’re telling patients with pre-existing conditions they don’t deserve that existing part
