I am torn to pieces. Pete is a friend. A great person and a great baseball player. That will never change. I really hope Pete knows how much Mets fans love and embraced him. The way the organization treated him is NOT a reflection of how much true fans love about him. 🐻❄️

I’ve been patient. We’ve lost my two favorite players the last two weeks. They’re producers and had the potential to bring a championship to Queens. They’re gone. It’s moves like this that alienate fan bases. I’m a very optimistic person but I’m worried and concerned.
