If you're designing a simple, complex or deeply connected #graphql API, consider Union Types. I find them super useful for polymorphic relationships 🔥
Don't forget sometimes a plain old fetch request is all you need to query your #graphql API. Don't immediately reach for all the npm dependencies if your requests are minimal. #graphql-request/urql are a good next step until you need all the complexity Apollo Client brings imo.
Field Aliases within #graphql are hugely underrated. Makes working with frontend libraries like Semantic UI that expect objects/arrays with certain keys painless. Rename the fields that come back from the API to be anything you like. 🔥
