The standard library algorithms are often underappreciated. I vividly remember situations when I or a colleague started with a hand-crafted function as initial prototype and eventually ended up with 1 or 2 calls to standard algorithms.


I'm accustomed to instance methods for all the things coming from a decade of Java. I thought emplace and push back was it!
