People from Matabeleland have been wearing attires from other countries eg Nigeria, South Africa Botswana etc. Our people never had their own unique attire that would identify them as Matabeleland people. Our job is to help create that attire, that will show our uniqueness

It is a shame that the national dress is forced on the people. People and traditional leaders were not consulted about it but they were just told that they will be a launch. If it is a national dress it must involve the nation in the design selection process. #NdebeleTwitter ?
