The pandemic is especially challenging for families and loved ones with special needs. It's one of the many reasons why we need to pass the #HeroesAct, which includes key funding for home and community-based service workers.
According to a recent study, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are four times more likely to contract COVID-19. @craigmelvin spoke with families and caregivers of people with special needs about the challenges they face.
