There are quality primate GIFs (wild & zoo) but I and many other primatologists do our best to not use any that could support the pet trade/poor welfare - no clothing, leashes, human settings, weird inter-species relationships (ex: orangutan & tiger babies). #primatology

As a social scientist who studies environmental issues, I cannot think of a conservation or environmental management practice that does not have a history of colonialism, racism, displacement, dispossession & violence. We must do better. #blacklivesmatter #Indigenouslivesmatter
