What incessantly training to fatigue does: Makes you tired! What it does not: Produce superior results. Most trainees can learn a lot from ACTUALLY training hard. There’s a time & place for it. However, don’t conflate every workout being a ball buster as being better.

What looks like a talent gap is often a focus gap. The "all star" is often an average to above average performer who spends more time working on what is important and less time on distractions. The talent is staying focused.
