The math is wrong (at least in my case). I don't go to church to socialize. Any social interaction that occurs is just an extra feature to whatever I go to church for. The church is an outlet for relief from the week's work and communion with the divine.

I don't think men have any emotional obligation towards women. Unless a man has a direct relationship with a woman, the barest debt she is owed is respect for her autonomy or her person as an independent, and separate thing. Nothing more or less.
This is the thing that bothers me about men. Yes the men in this video didn't make the laws to exclude women, but see how happy they are and enjoying their graduation, knowing fully well that all the women were excluded. As a man, how are you comfortable with this?
The "it's not X, it's Y" quip annoys the shit out of me. It's a frequently plied rhetorical device by the inadequate-in-mind, the one unable to participate in the in-depth and rigorous thought required to make a case.
It's more terrifying if there's no objective moral standard or some realm of goodness we can reach out to. Humans are not particularly experts in getting things right, and that applies to how we ascertain moral truths. We also possess the flaws of shortsightedness and bias.
So you need help finding your moral compass? Yes, that’s the part I find terrifying.
