I've reached that stage in my Auth0 journey where I enjoy inspecting every site's JWT I can to see how they structure their claims.
My team pushed the publish button this morning on our React Native app that we converted to @expo. Feels good to get that done and looking forward to continue working on this platform.
The EC2 instance you forgot you made in us-east-2 a year ago
Always impressed with how @ConfigCat onboards when creating new configs with clear documentation baked right in to the flag manager with copy/paste values for your setup.
Turns out ChatGPT is able to understand 'You're killing me, Smalls' and was properly chagrinned
I've been upgrading React Native projects for years and I don't think I've ever been able to do it and keep Flipper enabled. Every discussion on fixing Flipper related issues ends with just comment out enableFlipper and try again.
Rewatched Oppenheimer this week and realized that, as an American, my education lets me easily recall the date of Pearl Harbor, but I can't do the same for the days the bombs dropped. I don't even think I know the month.
Finally got around to seeing Dune in IMAX. I’m continually impressed with how good the movie adaptations are. They complement the book and the movie leans in on the cinematic elements to favor the movie experience over a faithful adaptation.
I miss listening to music. Since I got into my 30s it’s just so hard to justify with so much to learn via audiobooks and podcasts.
Reading through some company's privacy policy to try to poach it in hopes to appease Google's OAuth process and see they forgot to remove all the references from the company they poached their's from.
Finally got around to start learning @astrodotbuild and I find the commitment to the 'space' theme with the Houston CLI and 4321 port number delightful.
Yesterday at RNCK I demoed our new React Native IDE project we developed @swmansion. Check out the thread for details on each specific feature from the clip
Watching Willy Wonka with my kids and just realized that it puts chewing gum on the same level of vices as gluttony and selfishness. Was that a big deal in the 70s?
I can't put my finger on it, but every 3-5 years I have an overwhelming desire to fix all car dealership websites. Unrelated, lmk if you find any good deals on minivans.
While working on the annual budget this evening, I've caught myself writing 'cache' twice. Not sure what to make of it, but I'm pretty sure I'm not happy with my company's current image caching solution and it's affecting off-work hours.
I just don't understand how today's teens can navigate today's world without the guiding light of the Black Eye Peas that I had in my youth. #whereisthelove
