Passion is overrated. Pick something you find interesting and then obsess over it until you're so good that people can't ignore you. Passion follows competence, not the other way around.


Be smart enough to know when fairness isn't in your best interest. Sometimes the only way to get what you want is to forfeit what you deserve.


Most people wait to go "all in" until the rewards justify it - not realizing that the rewards have been standing by, waiting for them to go all in.

Is there a name for the feeling when you all you want out of life is to hunker down and eat pizza and watch movies but you also want to break new ground in your profession but you also want to quit society to live in the woods but you also want to go explore the world forever
