Losing arguments on the way to desired outcomes seems like a great way to game plan conversations / negotiations / pitches. Makes the other person feel better on the way, and the chance to be proved is so hard to ignore, so engagement happens.
This is great advice. The problem is when you can’t get a job, let alone find a great manager. And great managers are rare and elusive beings. It annoyed me so much that I couldn’t just pay someone to teach me what they would. That’s why human insight academy ☺️
Recently I wrote a list of my professional failures. They started off with a notable failure per year, but after going independent, they stacked up too quickly to keep count. I think becoming emotionally resilient to failure is a big part of being solo.

that's one great way. there are a few others that complement reading - writing, memorization, phyiscal exercise - we teach all that and more through our Deep Work course at human insight academy :)
gym for the mind already exists: it's called "read old books"
And this is why its crucial to get career systems into place as early as you can :) I took me till 31, but through human insight academy there's a step by step guide on how you can build them
You should work hard in your 20s beyond the obvious reasons of having the time, the energy, and few responsibilities. You should work hard because it’s easier to get ahead than it is to catch up. And it compounds like money. A little more now gives way more later.
