Flathead Lake is not projected to reach full pool — USDA water forecasts show snowpack at 50-70% of median, with streamflow forecasts "significantly decreased." The lake is expected to reach a maximum of about eight inches below normal, and recede to be 1.5 feet low on July 12.

Last night, rural schools in Greater MN overwhelmingly came up short on funding for capital projects and operating referendums. Most major projects in the metro sailed through. This growing disparity gap will continue to impact rural students, staff, programs, and communities.
