WOW. This is the crowd at a *mayoral* rally for Helen Gym in Philadelphia. If elected, Helene would make history as the first Asian American woman to serve as mayor of Philly. People are energized & fired up & it’s absolutely incredible.
The best of the many good arguments for Helen Gym is that not one mayor since I've come to Philly (Rendell, Street, Nutter, Kenney) has treated public schools as the full-blown crisis it is, or fought hard enough for kids and their teachers. Helen is different
