I don’t care what views execs at {insert company name} personally hold. It doesn’t matter as long as the Company doesn’t openly promote an agenda I’m strongly opposed to. Don’t force my product choices to be political. Promote your agenda as individuals. Not on the company blog.
Businesses exceed their mission when involved in political discourse unless it’s to protect their business. Make widgets? Focus on making the best widgets you can make. Your individual social and political agendas shouldn’t have anything to do with making widgets.
I don’t get the hate toward Basecamp re: policy changes. Work isn’t the place to have political discussions. It’s the place to get work done. Have a problem with how your company operates? Bring it up in your next 1:1. Wanna promote your political agenda? Do it on your own time.
Don’t know what’s better: celebrating my birthday by watching The Empire Strikes Back at the theater with my family tonight, or learning that @HamillHimself and I share a birthday! Happy bday Mark!

Today I reluctantly say goodbye to @Wunderlist and will transition to @MicrosoftToDo. The team has done a great job of getting ToDo feature compatible with Wunderlist. I'll miss forwarding emails to create new tasks, otherwise ToDo is a fine replacement. #ThanksWunderlist
