So, it looks like all ChatGPT DALL-E images have, in fact, been lossy this entire time, merely inefficiently and misleadingly *exported* as PNGs without actually being lossless ๐ !
.@OpenAI how come all my Dall-E 3 creations via ChatGTP are delivered as webp file format now? I've been downloading png files ever since I subscribed. As a paying customer, I should receive high quality and easily usable images, especially since that's what I was getting.
