From the original cycle blogger who promoted 'Going Dutch' - the Netherlands is full of motorists, they drive a lot and there number is growing. Going Hackney is a far better model of sustainable transport and 'public space for public life'.
The cycle fanatics consistently attack London’s most successful cycling borough because it proves the point, in shedloads, that there is more to providing for cycling than bike tracks. This guy, by the way, is a highway engineer that likes highways engineering.
To much hope in invested in bike lanes. Better to make London’s streets safer for everyone.
Dear @wfcouncil and @stellacreasy not sure have a cycle behind parked cars is a wise idea. Number of times I've seen cars suddenly break and nearly hit cyclists is unreal.
The notion that it’s OK to let bus services deteriorate in the way that they are, and in the name of social justice by reassigning road space and huge amounts of funding to cycles is crass nonsense.
I see the twitter handle @LabourCycles is promoting ‘social justice’ and transport. One of the seminal studies was undertaken by the Blair Government’s Social Exclusion Unit - proper policy making, not blogging.
Apparently this is Mayor Khans legacy 134 dead in 2018 & now 43 stabbed in Jan19 alone Yet Mr Khan spends billions on cycling infrastructure for less than 1% of London’s population #elitecapture truly unacceptable
