My mood and outlook from the first day to the last day of 2024 has certainly changed. 2024 was difficult. After my wife's breast cancer diagnosis in the spring I'm going into 2025 with hope and optimism that she's able to beat this.

A cool and overcast day today, so decided it might be a good opportunity to just use my 50mm lens.
Last fall I got this manual focus, Pentax Super Takumar lens for my Fuji camera. Some versions of this lens are actually radioactive due to the use of thorium glass! Sadly I haven't made much use of it because I struggle with the manual focusing aspect.
