Having an aircraft at this stage of maturity and taking this first step to start power on testing is a moment I’ve been waiting for for about 7.5 years in this industry now and am SO excited to see it happen!

We've begun power-on testing of the first of several FAA-conforming aircraft to be built for Type Inspection Authorization (TIA). This marks one of the most important milestones in Joby’s history and allows us to begin conducting thousands of hardware and software integration…

Both Joby $JOBY and Archer $ACHR will be showing (exhibiting) at the Dubai airshow (according to the airshow links); but only $JOBY is shown as in the aircraft lineup…. Which means at this point in time ONLY $JOBY is flying. This is like saying you’re going to the SuperBowl…

The Dubai Airshow starts two weeks later. $JOBY still is the only eVTOL company in the Aircraft lineup. Hmm..... dubaiairshow.aero/en/visit/visit…
